Have you seen the list of BFFs who are taking the plunge? Allllll those groovy folks listed to your right are likely joining us on our first ever Blog Friends Fest in Niagara, July 18th - 20th. If you want to add your name, then leave us a comment and we'll link you up. C'mon. You know you want to.
We are busy bees hunting down the perfect locale for our Fest. By next week we hope to announce the hotel and the group rate they can offer. Once that's nailed down, then we'll plan a fun itinerary that will have a healthy balance of obligatory tourist photo ops, live blogging, and fun. With a capital F.
As things get finalized, much of the specific deets will be shared by email with those who confirm attendance - to minimize the unitard-wearing stalker factor. Ya know how us bloggers attract the cooky fans. Heh.
A few lovely bloggers have asked about bringing along the kiddies. This is a super accessible event and children are definitely welcome! Everyone is welcome! (Except the unitard wearing stalkers). We'll be sure to schedule baby-friendly activities when we are out exploring Niagara and all the evening debauchery will be as baby friendly as possible (which likely rules out strip clubs. Or does it?). There a few confirmed attendees who will be there with cute baby in tow, so don't let that hold you back.
Is this event just for Canucks?? Hell no. Canadians are notoriously friendly. And hospitable. We're actively campaigning to get our American friends to join us. Especially if you are on the east coast, it might be easier and cheaper for you to come into BFF than San Fran. Just don't forget that we are, in fact, a "foreign" country up here in the land of maple syrup, bacon and hockey. You'll need proper ID in addition to your pretty smile to cross our lovely border. But once you are on the other side of that border? Well, be fair warned, you may never want to return.
Thanks to everyone who have blogged about BFF and put the button on your site. This is spreading like wild fire. Or the flu. Or something much, much, much better than either wild fire or flu.
So is it July yet? Is it???

um, keener? 1st to comment? that'd be moi. :)

One important question (for me, anyway!) - Is this just for girls, or are the boys invited too?

Boys are welcome ... although so far we don't have any signed up. The more the merrier.

Any ol' little blogger is welcome? How exciting!! I really really wanted to go to blogher, but I don't know enough people to really for the expense. But I could do Niagara Falls!

Crushed. With Wife in grad school at that time and a new first child, I don't see any way of getting to Niagra Falls. But I cannot wait to read about it and see the pictures.
Also, looking for suggestions for the first Mother's Day gift for my wonderful wife who has given me the most wonderful daughter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Listen, I'd like to be put on a tentatively hoping my ass off I can come list. But I (not trying to be ultra picky here) have to wait till I find out how much the rooms cost and then figure out expense of travel. Otherwise, I'm so there!

I'd really like to come if other Boston area bloggers can come as well and maybe share a ride. Although I don't have young kids, I do have teenagers that want to see the falls and might be persuaded to provide some babysitting for the right price! Hopefully, rooms are a LOT cheaper than in San Francisco!

I'm 95% sure that I'm coming, too. daysgoby talked me into it (not that it took much talking).
Very excited.
