Can't make it to San Fran in July?
Don't want to sit home alone licking your computer screen?
Rather hang with your blog friends and party it up Canuck-style?
A bunch of us were wine-ing whining about how BlogHer wasn't an option this year but how much we'd miss out on the best part ... spending time with the great bloggers. So we cooked up an idea that'll be affectionately dubbed "Blog Friends Fest" (BFF). Come for the cheese. Stay for the wine.
On July 18th - 20th we'll gather at Niagara Falls (the bloggymoon capital of the world).

We'll be goofy tourists, have mad-fun parties, and even try and patch into hotel room bash with our buds in San Fran via laptop video chat.
There's no formal conference ... just bonding... but we may have a wee round table/live blog about community and friendship that are made possible because of the blogosphere.
We want to keep this super affordable and super accessible. And everyone is invited. That means you and you and you. And even that cute little baby of yours (yes, everyone is welcome!). Are you in?
Let us know and we'll add you to the list of BFFs in the sidebar.
Jana even designed a groovy button to put on your blog to spread the word:

Wanna help plan the whole shindig? Awesome! Just let us know.
Stay tuned for the juicy details on the hotel and the itinerary and all that jazz. We wanted to get it in your calendar now but will ply you with more info as soon as we've got it.
See you there!

I'll be there!

The computer screen is just not the same texture as licking Motherbumper for real. Then the screen would infect my tongue and it would fall off or I might lose all my taste buds or something.
Niagara Falls look out. Fun is coming in a big way!

You've got me plotting now. I'm supposed to be in Toronto the next weekend, so I may try to work something up to have Trillian stay with Scooter while I go "work in the library" until she joins me for our current plans.

If ever there was a time that I wished I could clone myself, this would be it.

You're all making it really difficult to stick with my lame excuse of "Oh, I'll have a baby who is less than two months old".

Damn. Double damn.
I only wish. I'll have to live vicariously through you guys...

I think I can swing this if hubs doesn't book a flight away (it's our 10th anniversary on the 25th so he might surprise me). NF is only a 2 hour drive for me. Any Londoners can car pool if they want!

Can't wait! The Little Guy is a party animal, so watch out.

I can't believe there is actually going to be a blog fest I can drive to in under two hours. I thought this was an urban myth! I'll have to see what I can do.

Trillian was amazingly nonchalant about the whole thing, as long as I promised to pick her up from the airport the next weekend. So it looks like I'll be coming that weekend and then holing up in the UofT library the next week.

Aw, man! I'll be swinging through that neck of the woods (in a general sense), but a month earlier. Sniff. Feeling sorry for self -- must have a glass of wine.
